* The Baked Potato in Universal City presents fusion (etc.) concerts at 8 & 10pm nightly. Fri. Jan. 19: guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist, composer and former Zappa lieutenant Mike Keneally always has something different to say, here with his crack Beer for Dolphins quartet. Tues. * The LAX-area bar Sam First offers 7:30pm and 9pm jazz shows, in person and sometimes STREAMING. Fri. & Sat. Jan. 19 & 20: the tuned-in veteran piano & bass duo of Alan Pasqua & Darek Oles (Friday's set is broadcast live on KJAZZ 88.1 FM). Tuesday Happenings feature jams led by top local artists, most often the inspired pianist Gerald Clayton. Thurs.
