Thurs. June 27 -- On their current tour, Judas Priest have performed a buncha songs from 2018's "Firepower" as well as live rarities such as "All Guns Blazing" and my personal request, "Out in the Cold." Here's hoping Rob Halford (who canceled a recent show due to bronchitis) is still up for screaming stuff like that; dunno if Parkinson's-afflicted guitarist Glenn Tipton will continue to do encores with Priest as he did early in the tour, but the band has performed admirably with Richie Faulkner on lead ax for years now. This will be my first time seeing Uriah Heep ("Look at Yourself" or preferably don't), whose lineup still includes founding guitarist Mick Box. At L.A. Live's Microsoft Theater (formerly Nokia Theater), 777 Chick Hearn Court, downtown 90015; 8pm; $50-$160; www.microsofttheater.com.
